Our History
Sargodha Waste Management Company (SGWMC) was established under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 as a public sector, not-for-profit organization. It was formed with the objective of modernizing the waste management system in the city of Sargodha.
SGWMC operates under the administrative control of the Local Government & Community Development Department (LG&CDD), Government of Punjab. The company was created to address the growing challenges of urban waste and to provide efficient, transparent, and sustainable waste management services.
